Hmph, I hardly hope I'm expected to wear my absolute best for this party, especially on such short notice. And especially for such a low-scale party. I don't know the woman, I'm not about to try to impress her when I have other business I could be attending to.

I should hope she's not expecting any sort of crowd for this. Who would show up for such a pithy little event?
